Your Canoe:
Our custom made Voyageur Canoe is 25 feet long, 4 feet wide and weighs 270 pounds. It can comfortably sit 1 guide and five guests. We travel with two canoes for safety and company, so are able to accommodate 10 guests per trip.

Your Guides:
Your guides will be 2 of Norm Crerar, Gib McEachern or Stew Bexton. All three are alumni of the famous Flin Flon Canoe Club (1957-1967) of Flin Flon, Manitoba. Norm and Gib were partners during a 14-year career as professional canoe racers. They were both part of the Manitoba Centennial Canoe team that won the 1967 Canoe Pageant, a race across Canada from Rocky Mountain House to Montreal. This race retraced the fur trader’s route to Montreal and covered 3600 miles in 100 days.

All three went on to successful but different careers. Norm became a professional ski instructor, ski area operator and finally ski area owner. Gib became a well-known and respected bush pilot in northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan and is presently a water bomber pilot for the Manitoba Government. Stew raced successfully in many amateur canoe races and then went on to become a chemical engineer. Stew is also a master canoe builder and with Norm and Gib, builds the canoes we use on our adventures. Norm and Stew are semi retired in Vernon, BC and do consulting projects in their fields of expertise. Gib is still actively flying but spends the winters with Norm and Stew, doing a lot of cross-country skiing.
