The 2007 Columbia River Brigade is off and running and you will want to be a part of it. Join with veterans of the 1967 Centennial Canoe Pageant, veterans of the 2005 Saskatchewan Canoe Quest, paddlers new to Voyageur Canoes, First nations paddlers, Breast Cancer survivor paddlers, new Canadians and many more on the 200th anniversary of David Thompson’s first visit to the mighty Columbia River.
We will visit or pass by 14 communities in the Columbia Basin. We will paddle together, play together, work together and laugh together. You will make new friends with a common interest n paddling and Canadian History.
You will make Canadian History as a part of this 200th anniversary adventure.
Visit the event web site at www.canadianvoyageur.com. Check out all the information and fill in the registration form to make sure you have a spot in the Brigade. It is important to get your team registered now. The entry fee can be paid now or by installments between now and May 15th.
PLEASE PASS THIS NOTICE ON TO ALL CANOE CLUBS YOU ARE IN CONTACT WITH AND ALL OF YOUR PADDLING FRIENDS AND PRINT AND POST WHERE PADDLERS MAY SEE IT.
